Getting Started
This page will be your road map to help you through the grant applications process. Please read through the following steps. Additional information can be found in the FAQs.
Application Steps
- Step 1: Receive an invitation to submit a letter of interest from CEG. CEG does not accept unsolicited letters of interest.
- Step 2: Read about CEG and our Grant Info to learn about the types of grants we offer, grant process, and the amount you can request.
- Step 3: Read the Grant Policy to learn more about applicant qualifications, grant agreement terms and conditions, and grant ownership. You will be required to sign an agreement to abide by the terms and conditions before receiving any funds.
- Step 4: Review the sample letters of interest, then submit your own Letter of Interest. We will notify you (usually within 30 days of receiving the letter of interest) if your letter of interest has been approved. Please submit your letter of interest by the deadline given in your invitation. Submittals after the deadline will not be accepted.
- Step 5: Once the project submitted in your letter of interest has been approved, review the sample applications, then submit your own Application. We will notify you within 30 days after your application deadline if your application has been accepted or not. Remember to submit your application by the deadline given as late submittals will not be accepted.
- Step 6: Sign the Grant Application Agreement. You will be sent a grant agreement to sign and return. You should receive your funds within 30 days of our receiving your signed agreement.
- Step 7: Once your project has been completed, review the sample post-grant reports then submit your own Post-Grant Report.
